Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen dies

Washington: Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen (65) dies. The death was due to cancer.

Paul Allen and Bill Gates jointly led the company to Microsoft. The company started its service in 1975. Bill Gates reminisced that the concept of personal computing could not have been possible without Paul Allen. I lost his beloved friend, "he said.

Paul Allen was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. Paul Allen was optimistic that he would return to life even when the health conditions worsen.


Paul Allen was ranked 46th in the list of the world's richest people. He was interested in sports and was also the owner of Seattle Seahawks football team and the Volleyball Team, the Portland Trail Blazers. He is also the founder of Allan Institute of Brain Science, Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Institute for Cell Science and Strontolon Systems.
