Jerusalem: Palestinians staged a protest outside against the US President Donald Trump's announcement that Jerusalem was recognized as the capital of Israel. One person was killed in the clashes during protest demonstrations. Thirty people have been injured. Israeli forces fired at the protesters. Tear gas was also applied. Israeli forces have deployed more than 100 militia groups in the West Bank as protests continue.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Palestine. But the date of visit is not confirmed.  Modi visited Israel in July.

The United States has accepted Jerusalem as the capital of the foreign policy that has been in place for the last seven decades. Arab countries have warned against the decision to affect peace and political stability in the region.
