Mogadishu: At least 40 Somali refugee were killed off the coast of Yemen on a helicopter attack.
According to UN refugee agency, the victims of the attack were travelling from Yemen to Sudan.
The senior officer of UN's migration agency said that 42 bodies recovered from off the Yemen coast. The attack happened at about 3am by an Apache helicopter near the Bab el-Mandeb strait.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) put the death toll at 33 and said 29 were wounded and other passengers were missing. The officials not clear that who carried out the attack.
