Airports in Bali Ready to Reopen Today

Bali (Indonesia): The Volcano blast threatened Bali set to reopen Airports today. The authorities in the Indonesian Airport were closed after the Volcano engulfed smoke with volcanic ash earlier.

According to reports the authorities, airports will reopen at 3 pm local time.

Earlier, Malaysia Airlines cancelled all flights between Kuala Lumpur and Denpasar-Bali following the volcanic activity at Mount Agung.

 The Bali Airport is located about 60 km from the volcano. Thousands of tourists were trapped in the area.

About 100 flights have been cancelled since the alert. Seven flights were diverted through Jakarta, Surabaya and Singapore, officials said. Authorities have been ordered to move to the people around ten kilometers of the volcano. Airports were closed for 24 hours after the alert announced by the authorities.
