Vijay's Bairavaa: Promises to Keep You Thrilled

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is back to thrill the mass audience in his new title Bairavaa. This upcoming Tamil movie, which is written and directed by by "Azhagiya Tamil Magan" fame Bharathan and the film produced by Vijaya Productions. Vijay will be doing the male lead role and Keerthy Suresh will do the female lead role. Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu has been roped in to play the role of a baddie in the forthcoming movie. It may be recalled that he was earlier seen in the antagonist's character in the Rajinikanth-starrer "Lingaa". Daniel Balaji will be also playing a character with negative shades in the film. It features M Sukumar's cinematography, Praveen KL's editing and Santhosh Narayanan's music.

The shooting of this film has been commenced on June 2016 and second schedule of the Bairavaa movie shoot took long days in Rajamundry. Now the team is working on the final portion of the movie. The team plans to wrap up the complete shoot by mid-of this month and the final schedule also includes a duet song which would be shot on Vijay. 

The reports indicate that Vijay will be donning dual roles in the film with one of the characters speaking Nellai Tamil dialect and the other character will appear with a tonsured head. The film will also have one more heroine for Vijay who is kept under wraps. Bairavaa also stars the Malayali actress Aparna Vinod, YG Mahendraa and Daniel Balaji plays crucial roles. The film is expected to release from Pongal 2017. Vijay was last seen in Theri, directed by Atlee. Theri was 2016’s first major release in Kollywood and besides domestic Box Office.

The Official Teaser of this movie was released on Oct 27, 2016, and now it has clocked over 10 million views and continues to be a trending topic on social media. This is the third consecutive time a Vijay-starrer has achieved this rare feat. The teaser and trailer of his last outing, "Theri" had clocked over 10 million views too.
