* ONE WORD : Watch the movie Bhoomi for the energetic performance of Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari...

A shoe smith named as Arun Sachdeva (Sanjay Dutt) who lives with her loving daughter Bhoomi ( Aditi) near Agra. Just a day before her marriage at night she gets rapped by 3 men and the three men targets the father and daughter badly. Soon the father and daughter started to seek revenge against the 3 men.

Nowadays the Indian movies especially the Bollywood is running after the rape and its same old revenge stories. In Bhoomi also the entire story is completely based on a rape and its revenge. After the hit movies Mary Kom and Sarbjit the Director Omung Kumar is back with a revenge action movie. Omung Kumar proves that he is passionate director but after knowing the story of Sandeep Singh for this film I was really confused whether he will be able to execute the movie brilliantly and my confusion was resulted out correctly because he was not able to do his best because of the plot. The plot is completely repetitive of various revenge movies in Bollywood. Luckily the screenplay of Raaj Shaandilyaa offers some new unseen elements to a level for a revenge drama. The direction was smooth and the revenge ideas used in the movie will make every viewers to hook on within the film. The story could have been hard worked well in bringing out something new rather than the same old revenge and the emotions. The story is exactly similar to hit movies like Kaabil, Mom, Pink and much more of various other revenge dramas of Indian cinemas but the movie Bhoomi have a freshness on the ideas in seeking the revenge. The writers and director had made a good effort on portraying the real emotions. The father-daughter relationship is touchingly shown in the movie. The daughter getting raped and the humiliation of society towards her is brilliantly shown in the movie. Not only the emotions and revenge the director and the writers shows a daring courtroom scene pointing out the drawbacks of Indian judiciary which was really impressive. Interestingly the director and the writer had made a good effort to avoid melodramas. Overall the direction was good but the story is repetitive but the revenge and emotion elements in the movie will make everyone engage till the end.

The movie had two main lead stars i.e. Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari. The actors like Sharad Kelkar, Aryan and Puru Chibber also handles a crucial roles in the movie.
First of all about Sanjay Dutt, absolutely mind blowing performance. As a loving father his emotions was outstanding and also his fight sequences was also outstanding. One of performance on the court room is really touching. A great and a terrific comeback after 2 years, Hats of to Sanjay Dutt for a remarkable performance. Aditi Rao Hydari was also amazing as a beloved daughter.. The emotional scenes was completely safer at the hands of Aditi and her daring anger was spectacularly shown in the film. All the combination scenes between Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari is a major plus factor of this film which everyone gonna like it.
Sharad Kelkar played the main negative role character. As a cruel villain he played his role to a remarkable level. Puru Chibber and Veer Aryan also handled their respective negative shade character brilliantly. Sunny Leone comes up with a item song.

* MUSIC and BGM :
The musical work of Sachin-Jigar was mediocre. The songs "Lag Ja Gale" sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and the song "Daag" sung by Sukhwinder Singh was really good but all other remaining  songs was just average. The Background Score of Ismail Darbar had matched for most of the thrilling scenes and emotional scenes. Overall the Music was average but the BGM made a good feel.

The movie is having a good standard technical divisions. The Cinematography of Artur Żurawski was really great. The entire climax was shot amazingly and the camera movements for the fight sequences was also good. The Editing of Jayesh Shikarkhane was clear but some flaws was felt at beginning but mismatches won't be hardly felt. The Art Department also deserves a special mention for the beautiful marriage set and the art wok of color powders at the climax which was really impressive.

So to conclude the movie Bhoomi have a same old revenge story in all manner but the movie will keep on engage every viewers till the end by the mind blowing performance of Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari. The movie won't disappoint in any manner, a genuine film for a one time watch.
