* PROS :
1: PERFORMANCE OF LEAD ACTORS
2: CINEMATOGRAPHY
3: EDITING

* CONS :
1: STORY
2: SCREENPLAY
3: AVERAGE DIRECTION
4: BACKGROUND SCORE
5: MEDIOCRE DIALOGUES

* ONE WORS : A Complete Waste Of Time & Money.

* STORY IDEA : The plot of the movie deals with the life of few youngsters who lives in Calicut city and where they aims to make their life successful but gets failed most of the time due to their laziness. So they plan to make quick money by a tricky illegal business but some unexpected changes comes to their life and all of them gets into trouble. Rest of the story tells their further steps to solve their issues which was followed by friendship.

* OVERVIEW TO STORY, SCREENPLAY & DIRECTION :
The story of the movie was written by Anoop Joseph with the screenplay and dialogues of the actor Dhyan Sreenivasan and the movie was directed by Thomas.. K. Sebastian.
Without any kind of hesitation I would say that the entire writings of this movie offers a big time of disappointment in all manner. The story was completely pathetic and disgusting along with  annoying screenplay and dialogues of Dhyan Sreenivasan. The story itself get messed up in many areas with an horrible screenplay. The sorry doesn't offer anything new, what the writers had aimed it could not pass its real feel. Still wondering why did the writers had added the nostalgic club of hit movie Malarvadi Arts Club to this loosened story. The script was having many unwanted scenes and most of the target factors had also become overdramatic. A proper base was not at all felt in the script because many things are happening suddenly and the way all those are connecting is horrible and also the writers had portrayed those incidents to a boredom level. The situational comedies in the story was average but few humors had worded out decently still not perfect. The written formulas for pointing out the friendships had also become cliche. The twist and turns in the movie had was also having less impact to give its actual core and sadly the movie was resulted out boring in many areas due to the overdramatic treatment and it kills the patience of the viewers also one of the main drawback is its subplots makes more confusing which leads to less engaging to finish up the movie. The directional style of Thomas Sebastian was also mediocre because of the story and screenplay. He managed to end up the movie on an ok way and also maintains the flow in his direction and that was quite ok but not at all perfect. The dialogues was also less impressive but the conversation on the emotional scenes was good, remaining all other is just below average. If the story and the duration of the movie was trimmed it could have been much more better. So overall the story and screenplay was the main issue and sad to say that the writings had failed miserably.

* PERFORMANCE OF ACTORS :
The central characters of the movie was played by Dhyan Sreenivansan Aju Varghese, Dhyan, Sreenath Bhasi, and Hareesh Perumanna, Vishnu Govindan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Bhagath, Mamta Mohandas and Niranjana Anoop.
The performance of all the central characters had saved this sinking movie to a level. Dhyan Sreenivasan was having a seriousness style in his role and his performance was good. Aju Varghese as usual given his best and he played an artistic character. The make overs in his character was good and the comedies had also worked out well. Hareesh Perumanna in Calicut slang rocked in the movie. His Calicut slang had really matched for the scenarios and no doubt his comedies will make everyone laugh. Sreenath Bhasi also did his respective character well. Vishnu Govindan screen presence from the mid of the movie was also entertaining. Alencier Ley Lopez as the father of Dhyan did his supportive character brilliantly. Mamta Mohandas was having less screen presence and the cameo role was good. Niranjana Anoop character was not great, simply just a lover character with usual counseling stuff but the performance was good. Bhagath also did his painting dealer role decently. So overall the performance of every actors was notable.

* OVERVIEW TO MUSICAL WORK AND TECHNICAL ASPECTS :
The musical work of the movie was composed by Gopi Sunder and Shaan Rahman. The background score was utterly annoying. In most of the areas the BGM was too noisy and could not matched perfectly. The title song was good and an other song in the movie was average. The BGM work had really disappointed. The cinematography by Akhil George was good but not great. His camera work offers good frames of Kozhikode and the shots in title song was also good but the climax fight could have been shot much more better. The editing of Sandeep Nadakumar was steady and mismatches was less. So overall expect the background score all the other technical division which includes the cinematography, editing, art direction resulted out in a good way.

* CONCLUSION :
So overall the movie Goodalochana had given me a compete disappointing experience because of its pathetic storyline and unworked screenplay. I won't recommend this movie to anyone but just for watching few comedies or for a time pass the movie seems to be ok still sad to say please watch it at your own risk.

* VERDICT : BELOW AVERAGE
* GRADE : C
* RATING : 1.5/5
