- PREDICTABLE STORY BUT GOOD IN SHOWING THE MORAL VALUES

* ONE WORD : Akashamittayee turned out to a pretty decent movie to watch but partially failed to create the impact of its story.

* STORY IDEA :
The plot of the movie is all about the loving relationship of a father and son which travels to show the merits of proper education, demerits of business groups who consider education as business and the right values of friendship, love and family.

* OVERVIEW TO STORY, SCREENPLAY & DIRECTION :
The Direction of the movie was handled by Samuthirakani and M.Padmakumar. The story was written by the director Samuthirakani itself and the screenplay of the movie was handled by Gireesh Kumar.
The story written by Samuthirakani was having a strong plot which points out how should the teenagers and students should movie their life to find a meaningful life. The actual relationship of a father and son was beautifully written and the story offers a plenty of good touching moments of the real father son relationship. The story denotes how should a father and mother must take care and support their children's. Moreover the plot shows the drawbacks and cons of the current educational systems and the cheap dirty tricks  which they implements to make education as a business. The study pressures which the students faced by the over concerned parents is also pointing out in the story. The dialogues written by Gireesh Kumar was brilliant and the conversations expressing the good advices of the father was amazing. The dialogues also plays a crucial role and moreover the conversations have the proper highlights to give the depth but the making was mediocre and was not smooth enough to maintain the impact of the plot. The direction was having overdramatic scenes of a tele serial style which was really bad but still the making was ok but could have been done much more better for a proper engaging. The story, screenplay and the dialogues will show what is the real factors in this film.

* PERFORMANCE OF ACTORS :
The movie comes up with the star cast of Jayaram , Kalabhavan Shajon, Iniya, Sarayu Mohan, Irshad, Anil Murali, Nandana Varma, Seema. G. Nair and Balachandran Chullikkad.
The actor Jayaram is back in all manner. The role Jayashankar was brilliantly portrayed by him. The father character was beautifully played through his unique style of acting. The timings in telling the dialogues was genuine and his old ever green style was seen in this character. Kalabhavan Shajon also done an outstanding job which deserves a huge applause. His character was having a negative shade of an over concern father. Some of the situational humors was done perfectly and also the emotional scenes and the anger scenes was outstanding. Sarayu Mohan did the mother role and she did total justice to her character and her emotional scenes deserves a big thumps up. The four kids along with Nandana Varma had done their respective roles brilliantly. The supporting roles of Seema. G. Nair and Anil Murali was also good.

* MUSIC, BGM & TECHNICAL ASPECTS :
The songs for the movie was composed by Mansoor Ahamaned and the BGM was tuned by Ouseppachan. The songs were impressive but more than the songs the background score of Ouseppachan had sinked to maintain the flow of the movie. The cinematography was done by Alagappan and the camera frames were decent. The editing of Ranjan Abraham was crisp and clear but sadly the dance choreography in the movie was average.

* CONCLUSION :
So overall the movie Akashamittayee have some good moments which shows the drawbacks of the educational system of private sectors along the movie denotes the good parental cares but sadly the movie doesn't live up to make an impact within in its story by its making. Still the movie won't disappoint in any manner and it's worth to watch with our families.

* VERDICT : WATCHABLE
*   RATING : 2.5/5
