Rain continues in Kerala; 13 Killed, Exams Postponed

Thiruvananthapuram: People in Kerala are in distress because of heavy rains.  As water rises, the authorities are evacuating people. Of the 111 camps which have been opened so far, 22,061 are living in the camp. Several bus services have also been suspended due to heavy rains.

MG Universities have been postponed the exams scheduled tomorrow. The renewed date will be notified later.

On the other hand, the death toll in the rainy day has increased to 13. Two people have died today.  The strong western winds which followed the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal on the Odisha coast caused heavy rain in Kerala. The Meteorological department alerted fishermen to not to cross the sea because strong winds and sea borders on the Kerala coast.
