Nurse strikes Postponed of CM's assurance

Thrissur: Private hospital nurses have been put on an indefinite strike from Monday to demand wage increases has been postponed. The UNA meeting in Thrissur decided not to strike till Wednesday. The decision was taken after the High Court directive and the request of the Chief Minister.

The chief minister's office has demanded that the indefinite strike of nurses be declared to stop temperorily. The chief minister's office nurses association told the delegates that the government is ready to discuss the issue with the government nurses. Health Minister KK Narayanan called on the nurses to end the strike. Shailaja had said today. The minister said that it has not yet been discussed about esma.

The HC also said it will settle the strike. The committee appointed by the High Court for arbitration talks will also convene on July 19. The IMA has also been informed of mediatorship. The nurses started a private hospital demanding the minimum wage of the Supreme Court. The High Court had on Friday ordered the court to take action against the strike.
