Engineering Student's Suicide: The March Conducted by Students Union Turned Violent

Palakkad: A dispute broken in a march over the engineering student's suicide in Pampadi. The various unions in the collage hit the bench and desks to pieces, reports said.

The police force and KSU, SFI union workers encountered each other in the march.

According to report, the workers of the union pelted toward the police.

And they also had broken down the glass of a police jeep which parked near the collage compound. The collage was closed over the disputes broken after the student’s death.

But the ABVP and KSU workers marched to the collage, reports added.

An 18-year-old Jishnu computer science student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his college hostel bathroom in Kerala's Thrissur. The police have registered a case of unnatural death but his friends have alleged that he was harassed by college authorities on being caught cheating.

On being directed by the Education Minister, the university officials will visit the college on Tuesday for collecting evidence.

Jishnu, hailed from Kozhikode, was a first year computer science student at the college.
