A great start to the international film festival of Goa

Panaji: Goa has turned out to be a festive occasion with colorful ceremonies. Goa governor Mridula Sinha inaugurated the lamplight. Central Information Technology Broadcasting Minister Rajya Vardhan Singh Rathod, Sudhin Dhalikkar, Goa State Chief Secretary Dharmendra Sharma, Festival Jury chairman Robert Glavansky, Vice Chairman E S G Shri Rajendra Thilak and Director Chaitanya Prasad participated in the function.

The inaugural ceremony was held at Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Indore Stadium. The 90-minute inauguration ceremony of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood and Shilpa Rao performed at the inauguration ceremony of Indian cinema. The red carpet word of the stars is also very exciting. Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Julian Londayas, Harshita Bhat, Madhur Bhandarkar, Subhash Ghai, Arjit Singh, Ramesh Sippy, and Chin Paan were also present at the occasion. The inauguration of the Film Facilitation Office was also inaugurated by the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The inaugural film was directed by Julian Landese's English film The Aspen Papers. The inauguration ceremony was held in high security.

The eight-day long film will feature 212 films from 68 countries and cinematographers are in the forefront of the film. Malayalam Cinema is the best film present for this year.

There are three Indian films in 15 of the internationally selected films. Jayaraj's 'Bhayanakam', Lijo Jose Pellissery's 'E Ma Yau' can be seen in the festival.
