Question Paper Leakage; Two BJP leaders and SI arrested

Ahmedabad: Two BJP leaders have been arrested for allegedly leaking out question marks for the Gujarat Police constable examination. Four persons, including a sub-inspector, were arrested. The examination for the Class III grade was to be held on December 2 but was canceled at the last moment after the authorities got to know about the paper leak.

Sub-inspector P V Patel, BJP members Mukesh Chaudhary and Manhar Patel and Rupal Sharma, a private hostel owner, were arrested after a complaint was filed in the morning.

Yashpal Solanki, an employee of Vadodara Municipal Corporation, is yet to be arrested, police said. The Rupal Sharma, who received the questionnaire, make answer key and sold it to his hostel, said in the FIR. In the morning of the examination, many people came to the hostel to buy answers.

As many as 8.75 lakh candidates were scheduled to appear for the exam which was to start at 3 pm at 2,440 centers across Gujarat.
