Lashkar-e-Taiba provided a fund to build a mosque in Haryana; NIA

Palwal: According to the NIA report, the mosque in Haryana was built with the help of the Pakistan terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba. To build a Qulafah e Rasheed in the mosque, Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Said's terror group has been provided fund, reports said.

Three men, including Imam of the mosque, Mohammed Saleem were arrested on September 26. The fund was purchased from theFala-e-Insaniate Foundation (FIF) in Lahore. The NGO founded the mother institution of Lashkar and Hafiz Saeed's Jamaat-ud-Dao (JUD).

Besides the mosque Imam, NIA was arrested by Mohammed Salim and Sajjad Abdul Wani. The officials of Qulaf-e-Rashidheen Masjid in Uthwar village of Palwal are questioning them. Account books, donations received, and documents are scrutinized.

Salman, Mohammed Salim, and Sajjad Abdul Wani were arrested on September 26 for receiving cash from the terrorists. The NIA spokesperson said that he was suspected to have links with Lashkar-e-Taiba in Dubai.

Lashkar-e-Taiba gave Salman a cash prize of over Rs 70 lakh for construction of the mosque in Attavar.
