New Delhi: Bank defers the decision to impose fine on card payments at petrol today.
Petrol pumps will accept debit and credit cards till January 13said All India Petrol Dealers Association.
The decision to charge fee on card payment postponed by the banks, reports said. The authorities hope in new decision, which will be acceptable for pump owners.
Based on the governments new measures to promote the digital transaction, there officials was announced a relaxation of 0.75 to every card transaction.
The decision came soon after the banks deferred their decision to charge 1% transaction fee on card payments.
