An attack on Muslims in Jammu, More than 50 vehicles were burnt; Police imposed Curfew

Jammu: Attacks on Muslims in Jammu have been attacked following the terror attack against the army in Pulwama. More than 80 vehicles were attacked by the Sanghpariwar in Kashmir Registration Station near Gujjar Nagar. More than 50 vehicles were burnt. Hundreds of people came out of the street with Kashmir and anti-Pakistan slogans.

Protest rallies were held at Purani Mandi, Juhu Chowk, Dogra Chowk, Rihari, Janipur, Gandhinagar and Bakshi Nagar. Police force deployed in various parts of Jammu city after protests erupted.

The military also called for people to stay in peace. The army has been called upon to maintain law and order. The curfew was imposed following reports that tensions might go to communal riots.

Although curfew has been reported in the loudspeakers, protesters are still on the streets. Shops are closed in Jammu. Protesters loud anti-Pakistan, anti-terrorist slogans, torched tires and hampered traffic. There are so many people protested streets asking for retaliation.

The protest was organized by Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena, and Dogra front. The leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti and Umar Abdullah condemned in the conflicts. They said that attack on Muslims has also been split into India.
