Kappa Ularthiyathu

Tapioca (Kappa,Marachini)-1 kg


Garlic-4,5 petals

Chilly powder-1 spoon

Turmeric powder- a pinch

Salt-as required

Mustard-2 spoon

Curry leaf-3 sprigs

Oil-as required


1.peal and cut tapioca into small pieces and cook well.Then filter water from the sameand add some salt.

2.Crush shalots and garlic

3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and add somered chillies, mustard and curryleaf. When mustard starts poping add the shalot garlic mixture into it.

4.Then add turmeric and chilly powder.

5. add the cooked tapioca and mix it well.

Check the taste and add some salt if required. Then serve it hot with fish curry or Chicken curry.
