KOCHI : Dimple Kaur from Mumbai bagged the fourth edition of the Manappuram Miss Queen of India contest 2014 held at the Gokulam Park Inn convention centre here on Friday. Adithi Shetty from Banglore and Sneha Priya Roy from Bihar bagged the first and second runner-up title respectively. Dimple has won a cash prize of ` 2 lakh. The first runner has got Rs 60,000, and the second runner was awarded Rs 40,000 respectively.

Aswitha.M.Kumar, a Keralite has won the Miss Viewers’ Choice. Other winners include Tanishka Kapoor –Miss Beautiful Face, Anam Shaikh- Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Hair, Raxshmi- Miss Beautiful Eyes,Miss Perfect 10, Monika Malik- Miss Beautiful Skin, Namratha Gujaran- Miss Photogenic, Dimple-Miss Talent.

The contest was judged by actors and models Niyathi Joshi, Simer Motiani, Aditi Chaudhary, Thoshma Biju, Shamna Kasim and Rotary Governor Kuriachan.

The event which marked the conclusion of the pageant was a three-and-half-hour programme with three sequences and cultural programmes. The sixteen participants, Abhishiktha Shetty, Aditi Shetty, Anam Shaikh, Ashwika Omkuam, Avantisha Singh, Dimple Paul, Lopamudra Lahiri, Monika Malik, Namratha Gujaran, Raxshmi, Ruchika Sambhi, Shivika Gandhi, Snehapriya Roy, Surbhi Tewari, Tanishka Kapoor and Yashoda Jain, will walk the ramp at the grand finale for the music composed by musician Harvi. The event will be conducted by Pegasus Event Makers.

The pageant was conducted with the participation Kanyaka Fortnightly. Kanyaka Managing Director Toshma Biju Varghese was also present on the occasion.
