Protesters Threatening to Disrupt the Republic Day Celebrations; Paneerselvam has promised a new law for Jallikkattu

Chennai: The protesters of jallikkattu oppose the event, students and youths held the jallikkattu in some places of Madurai. As the locals demanded a permanent solution for this issue, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Paneerselvam has promised a law once the assembly session begins on Monday. Meanwhile, the protesters favoring the jallikkatu continuing the protests in Marina Beach, threatening to disrupt the Republic Day celebrations, which will be held on Thursday.
